Our 21+ Age Requirement
BattleBuds (LoJack Florida, LLC d/b/a BattleBuds) sells hemp-derived products intended exclusively for adults 21 years of age or older. We do not sell to, market to, or accept orders from individuals under 21 years of age.
This Disclosure describes the methods we use to verify customer age, the customer’s role in the verification process, and the consequences of providing false age information.
How We Verify Age
We use multiple layers of age verification across the customer journey:
1. Site Entry Age Gate
All visitors to the Site must confirm they are 21 years of age or older before viewing any content beyond the entry page. This confirmation may be recorded using cookies or similar technologies. Visitors who indicate they are under 21 may be restricted from accessing the Site or redirected away from the Site.
2. Account Signup Verification
When a customer creates an account, we collect identifying information including full name, date of birth, and address. We use a third-party age and identity verification provider, AgeChecker.Net, to confirm that the customer is 21 years of age or older.
In some cases, AgeChecker.Net may request additional documentation, including a photo of a government-issued ID, to complete the verification. We do not intentionally receive or store copies of customer ID photos on our website servers. Our website may receive and store limited verification-related information, such as verification status, timestamp, transaction reference, and information necessary to complete, deny, or document an order.

3. Per-Order Checkout Affirmation
At checkout, customers are required to affirmatively certify that they are 21 years of age or older and that the products ordered are lawful at the delivery address. Orders cannot be completed without this certification.
4. Adult Signature on Delivery
All hemp flower shipments require adult signature service. An adult 21 years of age or older must be available at the delivery address to sign for the package. The carrier may require the recipient to present valid government-issued identification at the time of delivery.
The adult signing for delivery does not have to be the purchaser unless required by law, carrier policy, or our internal compliance procedures, but the signer must be 21 years of age or older.
Customer Responsibility
By accessing the Site or placing an order, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, complete, and truthful information about your age
- Not accessing the Site or purchasing products on behalf of anyone under 21
- Not allowing anyone under 21 to access your account
- Ensuring that an adult 21 years of age or older is available to receive shipments at the delivery address
Additional Verification
We reserve the right to require additional age, identity, payment, address, or compliance verification before accepting, processing, or shipping an order.
We may require age verification again if account information changes, if an order raises compliance or fraud concerns, or if required by law, carrier policy, payment processor requirements, or our internal compliance procedures.
We may require that the customer account holder, purchaser, payment information, and delivery recipient information be consistent or otherwise verifiable before accepting or shipping an order.
We may cancel, delay, or refuse shipment of any order if age verification cannot be completed or if the information provided is inaccurate, incomplete, unverifiable, or inconsistent.
Consequences of Fraudulent Age Claims
Providing false age information, attempting to bypass our age verification processes, using another person’s identity or account information, or facilitating the purchase, receipt, or use of our products by anyone under 21 is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in:
- Immediate cancellation of pending orders, with refunds handled according to our Refund Policy and applicable law
- Delay or refusal of shipment
- Suspension or termination of the customer account
- Refusal of future orders
- Reporting to applicable authorities where required by law
If You Believe Age Verification Has Failed
If you become aware that a person under 21 has gained access to our Site, created an account, or received our products through another person’s account, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
